As a result, medical professionals in the UK are becoming increasingly receptive to the idea of using ecigarettes as a viable way to quit smoking. A recent review by a leading British health organisation found that vaping is 95% safer than smoking and according to Professor John Britton, who is in charge of tobacco research for the Royal College of Physicians, ecigarettes could save up to 5 million lives in the UK.
